    From then until now... learn more about the milestones in the history of the Thiele Glas Group.
    
    It all began in 1989 in the small town of Schrozberg in Baden-Württemberg. A small glass-cutting business with 4 employees and a manageable production and office area of 800 m² was the beginning of the development of what is today a medium-sized, modern and innovative glass processing company with a total of six locations, 75,000 m² production area, 400 employees and approx. 30 trainees. Since then, Thiele Glas has been expanding rapidly, adding five more locations in West and East Germany.

EXPONATEC COLOGNE 2015 – Thiele Glas impresses with new and modern booth design

Last Friday the three-day Exponatec ended with satisfied visitors and success for the exhibitors. The most important European platform for museums, conservation and cultural heritage especially focused on new concepts, technical equipment and innovations in knowledge transfer.

Thiele Glas presented as flat glass refiners its new product <link _blank internal-link internal link in current>TG-PROTECT^®UVzero – an ultraviolet-protective glass with colorless PVB-interlayer, which blocks incident ultraviolet light to 100 % and thus preserves exhibits from premature aging. The black showcase of <link _blank internal-link internal link in current>TG-LuxRaff^® was a major attraction. Due to cut-outs, which were provided with laminated glass, rubbernecks cast a glance into its inside while hearing the detailed explanation of the ultraviolet-protection glass from one of our consultants.

Additionally, the display cabinet out of anti-reflective glass (<link _blank internal-link internal link in current>TG-PROVIEW) and the large digitally printed glass (<link _blank internal-link internal link in current>TG-PRINTdigital) impressed visitors of our booth. The positive feedback of the visitors and the new linked contacts turned the event into a complete success. Subsequently the extensive program with lectures presentations and discussions encountered great interest by the visitors.
