From 6th to 8th November 2014 the International Trade Fair for Museum & Exhibition Technology, so called MUTEC, took place in the new fair grounds of Leipzig. Amongst other topics, the focus of MUTEC was set on museum architecture, construction and furnishing as well as exhibition presentation and organization.
Amongst others also Thiele Glas used the international expert conference for the first time this year in order to present several opportunities which are provided to museums in terms of their design with glass. From showcases and cabinets of anti-reflective glass, digital printed glazing for information boards and decorative wall panels up to design glasses which set fascinating accents in exhibition halls.
In addition the trade fair was accompanied by an extensive framework program on the theme ‘museum 2020 – the modern museum and the impact of digitalization’. Furthermore there were workshops, product presentations and lectures on current topics of the industry.
