Co-Creation Centre at The Green Village, Delft (NED)
„The Green Village“ in Delft is a living lab for sustainable innovation in the urban environment. The Co-Creation Centre building is a co-creation of various research projects executed by consortia of scientists from Delft University of Technology and innovative companies. But it is not only the intended use as an event centre with the aim to accelerate innovations for sustainable future that makes it unique. It is the first building in which recycled concrete has been used. Also special is the revolutionary all-glass facade which consists of TG-THERM® insulating glass with a black printed stepped glass unit. Only silicone and glass support the building, there are no auxiliary construction or steel beams. The entire roof load rests on the more than 5-metre-high glass fins made of TG-PROTECT® with the high-strength film SGP. Overall a total of 288 panes were installed.
