De Bastei Nijmegen (NLD)
In the course of several years of reconstruction of the historical building, the full-glass Arkel Erker was erected with two glass storeys. This is intended to symbolize the ancient observation tower and invites the museum visitors to enjoy the unique view over the river landscape
of the Waal. For this purpose, at one point of the otherwise closed facade the completely glazed Arkel Erker out of TG-THERM®plus, was installed as a special construction without any visible construction mediums, which enables maximum visibility.
