Eduard Mörike Karree, Wiesbaden (GER)
When art and education go hand in hand, a backyard turns into an oasis of well-being. Since the design of the promenade in the Eduard Mörike Karree in Wiesbaden, nine large glass exhibits have decorated the pathways. These digital printed glass panes recount about the life of the poet Eduard Mörike from the 19th century. To ensure a high resistence and longevity of the glass fins, the triple laminated safety glass TG-PROTECT®-ESG was used, which is equipped with a „cool white“ interlayer. To protect the glass edges from weather influences, the glass panes were surrounded in metal frames. The art objects are set in scene by an indirect lighting. Framed by young planting, the glass fins valorize the quarter visually and intellectually.
