FIFA Filterfabrik, Wilsdruff (GER)
B. Braun Melsungen AG, a global player in the healthcare industry, has built a new production facility in Wilsdruff, Saxony. It is Europe‘s most modern production facility of dialyzers for the blood washing of people with chronic kidney disease. The compact building is characterized by its glass entrance façade, for which insulating glass manufactured as TG-THERM®sun was used, thus providing special sun protection. In addition, panes of TG-PROTECT® with a structural PVB interlayer were used in the façade, which is especially
characterized by its high rigidity and high adhesion to the glass surface. This enables an excellent residual load capacity that can resist high loads and increased temperatures.
