Art stele „missing link_“, Dusseldorf (GER)
A touching symbol of remembrance, reminder and connectedness - the light installation “missing link_” preserves the history of Düsseldorf and its Jewish community in a moving way. As a permanent artwork made of glass, it combines timeless beauty with the commemoration of the city‘s synagogue, which was destroyed during National Socialism. The project was realized by Mischa Kuball in cooperation with the city of Düsseldorf, the Jewish community of Düsseldorf, the Düsseldorf Memorial and Remembrance Site, and the Düsseldorf Art Commission. The artwork was digitally printed onto the glass panel which is fixed in the frame.
