PlusCity, Linz (AUT)
The tram station at PlusCity in Linz presents itself as colorful and welcoming. With almost 1,400 m2 of colored laminated safety glass, it not only draws attention to the shopping center from train passengers but also car drivers with the adjoining pedestrian tunnel crossing the street. In order to ensure optimal protection for the passengers, TG-PROTECT®color as 2 times (façade) and 3 times (roof) laminates with amber yellow PVB-color foil was used for the station. Each one of the 336 panes was custom made and linear stored installed by means of clamping profiles. Another special feature: The circular panes that are mounted on the rear have a diameter of 2,600 mm. The laminates of the roof havealso a considerable size of 2,480 x 2,480 mm.
