Volks- und Raiffeisenbank, Bad Aibling (GER)
Functionality combines with classical design
The new competence center of the Volksbank Raiffeisenbank Rosenheim-Chiemsee eG: An innovative glass shell offers an appropriate design and best possible noise and climate protection.
‘The new entrance gate to the city Bad Aibling‘ denominates the Volksbank Raiffeisenbank their new building complex. The concept of material and color is restrained. The colorful design of the low-energy-building façade appears friendly and unobtrusive. Due to the ecological situation the concept includes saving energy and using modern renewable forms of energy.
Therefore heating and cooling of the building is achieved by heat and cooling transfer of the groundwater. Especially for such applications a novel curtain-wall rear-ventilated façade system has been developed. An elegant and frameless design with filigree retaining clips is distinctive characteristic of the technically sophisticated system. An extremely weather-proof and resistant outer shell is ensured. With its clear lines and a frameless design the Volksbank is presented sustainably.
Nearly 4,000 square meters enameled panes measured from 2,600 x 1,000 mm up to 2,600 x 2,600 mm have been installed in the entire façade. The in Schrozberg full-surface refined single tempered safety glasses provide high scratch and weather resistance due to their color coating.
