Great success for the new GLASSINSIDE

Progress and further education are important topics in corporate culture and the offer of Thiele Glas. That’s the reason why our service goes far beyond consulting, production and delivery of refined flat glass.

On the 4th of May the GLASSINSIDE took again place in Wermsdorf. At this customer event, which was opened by Wermsdorf Mayor Mueller in the old hunting lodge, high-profile guest speakers as well as Thiele glass expert consultant Jan Evers held a presentation on current issues.

• DIN 18008 in application (Mario Schandelle, Pauli & Sohn)

• PVB standard and special interlayers in application (Matthias Haller, Eastman)

• Design glass with color films or printing and, of course, the novelty in glass construction: oversized glass up to 18 meters from Thiele Glas (Jan Evers, Thiele Glas)

Following the theoretical part, all interested participants went to the production facilities of Thiele Glas for a guided tour. This began with an impressive demonstration of quality assurance. In spectacular trials, Stefan Zimmerling, head of Quality Assurance at Thiele Glas, showed the stability of toughened and laminated safety glass. The following factory walkabout not only gave further insights into the production processes, but also left room for open questions and discussions.
