House of Music Hungary, Budapest (HUN)
With the House of Music Hungary, a new cultural landmark of the city has emerged, which was built as part of the Liget Budapest Project. Architecture, design and landscape are not only combined here, but connected with each other, thus offering a completely new artistic experience. The facade of the house looks like a glass curtain that blurs the boundaries between inside and outside. In order to still protect the interior from heat and solar radiation, the decision was made to use TG-THERM®sun insulating glass for the almost 12 m high glass panes, as it stands out in the areas with its special properties. Due to the unusual roof structure, each of the 389 panes is custom-made and reinforced with 6-fold laminates. Our TG-PROTECT® was used here. The panes were already manufactured parallel to the shell according to drawings.
