Posnania Shopping Mall, Poznan (POL)

With nearly 300 boutiques, restaurants and stores the Posnania Shopping Mall in Poznan ranks among the big-gest shopping malls in Europe. So that the building still appears spacious, the different floors are connected by a huge glass staircase. Therefore the TG-STEP-stairs are made of TG-PROTECT® SGP with quintuple TG-ESG®-H low-iron glass. The slip resistance is guaranteed by a  surface finishing with LuxRaff® stone. Stair strings and fins are also composed of TG-PROTECT® SGP that has been produced with quadruple TG-ESG®-H. The high require-ments of a very good edge stability and very low glass tolerances could be met thanks to a special lamination process. The maximum dimension of the panes are almost eight meters and the maximum weight around two tones.
