Potsdam Square 11, Berlin (GER)
At one of Berlin‘s most famous locations, Potsdamer Platz 11, you can‘t miss it - an office and administration complex in the heart of the German capital. Following modernization, the high-rise now shines in new splendour. Thiele Glas supplied TG-THERM®plus insulating glass for the façade. Some of these were finished with digital printing, sound insulation film and various other treatments. The glass was installed using structural glazing. The TG-PROTECT® SGP and TG-PROTECT®-TVG panes were used as 4-layer laminates for the point-fixed canopies. The special thing about this is that the point supports were already laminated during production. Overall, there were high requirements in terms of tolerances and edge quality. The logistics also had to be planned based on a concept due to the limited space available in Berlin‘s city center.
