Space Needle, Seattle (USA)

During the past years the most extensive rebuilding activities since the establishment of the space needle took place. In doing so the glass balustrade was renewed, glass benches at the viewing platform were created and the restaurant was equipped with a new glassy floor. For this reconstruction mainly the laminated safety glass TG-PROTECT® SGP that is characterized by its especially high stability and an excellent edge quality, was used. For the restaurant floor this product was further processed to TG-THERM® and partly refined with a special sun protection.
