Great Performance at Glasbau 2017
From March 30 to 31, 2017, the Technical University (TU) of Dresden (Saxony) invited guests to the 14th ‘Glasbau’. Visitors and exhibitors were offered the opportunity to discuss specific topics related to building with glass.
Thiele Glas was again present with its own exhibition booth this year.
In seminars, innovations in constructive glass construction, glass refinement and facade construction were presented. Speakers instructed the visitors on topics such as solar building, design and construction.
"For our company, it is an enrichment to be able to participate in Glasbau and to exchange with renowned experts every year," says Jan Evers, architect consultant at Thiele Glas. At the Thiele Glas booth, our employees advised visitors on the extensive range of products with maximum dimensions of 18,000 x 3,210 mm. With these pane sizes, the Swabian family company is doubling the established maximum dimensions. The new oversized panes will be produced in the coming months and offer a wide range of design possibilities.
More than 200 visitors came to the lecture hall of the TU Dresden on both days of this year's Glasbau. The program particularly convinced by its high practical relevance, the numerous application examples and an inspection of the test halls, in which our product TG-STEP was also tested.
